What Persuasive Tactics are you Using for Driving Virtual Training?
For those who are currently conducting customer training, can you share any success stories on persuading customers who want to wait for ILT, both present and future, to not wait and take on alternatives like virtual training? Based on a presentation given during TSIA Virtual Conference, this was a major discussion point and curious to see what others are doing.

From the TSW Live conference we picked up a couple tips on how to better position VILTs. One was to communicate out a recorded snippet of the training so customers can see the value. While I don't know that we will be able to do that, we do intend to pull some positive feedback from recent VILT attendees and communicate that out to potential learners. Our VILTs are broken out into 4-hr chunks over 4-8 days, depending on the class.
We recognize that it is difficult for remote employees to commit to dates and times, so we're now planning to break up our class content into on-demand chunks with hands-on labs so learners can truly go at their own pace and not have to make that big commitment to our time slots.
