What is the industry benchmark to measure the effectiveness/productivity of trainings?

We deliver technical trainings to our technicians and we want to measure the actual impact of these trainings. Can you please share what are the industry practices / benchmark to measure the effectiveness or productivity of a training? we want to find a measure which can show us an actual measurable impact?

Hi @hamza.khan@tetrapak.com , thanks for sending your question.

TSIA has a public data point that says companies that include Education Services in their adoption strategy achieve a 12% increase in year-over-year product subscription growth rates.

Any other thoughts regarding Industry companies, @Maria Manning Chapman ?

If I understand your question correctly, you're looking for measurable results that training has on your technicians who consumed the training. If that's the case, you will need to measure data before they were trained and after they were trained. Then you could look at data points such as improvement in reduced time to resolve support calls and improvement in ability to resolve more complex calls. So far, I've never seen any company provide correlational data, only anecdotal data after surveying people trained and certified.

Go to the TSIA Portal for more information and insights.
